As purple summer begins its turn to the first hay-gold touches of autumn, let’s hit the road on our Italian tour and head east into the hills until we feel cool breezes and smell the sea - it’s off to Le Marche! We’ll stoke our appetites with some intense hikes up and down the hills of Offida and Macerata, take a respite to nap on the historically Greek beaches around Ancona, fuel up with a spiked coffee in Ascoli Piceno, and take a delightful drive through the grapevine-covered hills of Castello di Jesi and Matelica, all while exploring one of Italy’s most beautiful and least-touristed regions.
Stretch those quads, grab a sunhat, and get ready for some of Italy’s most Hellenic seafood and historic wines as we kick off to Marche!
